Work History

Hello again,

I want to continue to introduce myself. I figured that my work history would be a relevant topic for you to read. Perhaps understanding that people come from different backgrounds to enter the world of Web Development will motivate you or just allow you to relate. Some of these jobs were in my youth, and some were as an adult. The length of time at these positions varied and this list may not be in perfect sequential order.

Jobs:

• Newspaper delivery boy

• Dishwasher at chain restaurant

• Food-prep at chain restaurant

• Lawn-care at apartment buildings

• Drum teacher

• Pulled pallets at grocery store

• Tree nursery helper

• Window washer, gutter cleaner and pressure washer

• Carpenter's Helper

• Recycle truck driver

• Compressed gas bottle delivery driver

• Army Communications and Information Systems Specialist

• Army Communication Systems Technologist

• Army Financial Services Administrator

Failed business attempts:

• Window washing and gutter cleaning business

• Fence post business

As you can see I had different roles, some general, and some involving technology. I learned many different skills and attempted to apply what I learned in one job, to the next. Whether it be organizational skills, leadership skills, communication skills, or technical skills.
